The engines in this boat are twin 480 horsepower Cummins diesels. These engines are mounted backwards from a normal installation and drive the boat through a V drive.
The bilge heater is mounted against the stearn about 24″ above the bilge and pointed directly between the 2 engines. The small size and light weight are very impressive.
For additional safety reasons, I mounted the heater directly in front of the Fireboy auto fire extinguisher system (app. 24 ” in front of it). Thanks for a great product.
