• Breaker:
  A 15 A circuit is absolutely fine for an 800 W PTC heater.
  

• Relay/contacts:
  I’d spec at least 10–15 A resistive at 120 V to be comfortable.
  If you already standardize on 15 A or 20 A relays for the 1000 W unit, using the same for the 800 W keeps things simple and very safe.

• Inverter / small generator:
  Assume it might briefly pull around 7.5–10 A on startup, then settle around 6.7 A once the PTC element warms up and stabilizes.
