I have purchased this item 2 weeks ago and every day when I check on it. The heater is running but I don't know if it turns off cause I don't stay there Long enough to find out because the water Is frozen. The weather is cold and I still have to monitor it and check the temperature 1st in the engine area. If all is well in 2 more weeks I would let you know, and give you a 5 Stars rating. Thank you

We would love to see this turned around for you and make sure the heat is facing the transom and back of the motor to combat the cold coming in from the out drive unit. As for the fresh air vents, we recommend covering them to prevent drawing in cold air or letting the heat escape like a chimney. We hope that the heater works well for you once the weather improves. I have one on my boat that has worked great for years. I got another one to use in my pickup to keep the cab above freezing and the windows clear during winter. It's nice to get into a 40-50 degree truck when it's in the teens outside!
The medium 600W heater is perfect for my 23’ wakeboard boat here at 5,000’ above sea level. It’s the only heater that I will trust to protect my overpriced toy! I just started using a 600W heater for under my travel trailer in conjunction with Airskirts. It's been unseasonable cold (high 20's) here in TN and I'm putting the heater to the test. So far, it has worked perfectly and unfortunately, I wasn't able to try both with a little warmer temperatures. Even if the Xtreme Heater ran at 600W for a full 24 hours, it will only cost me around $2 per day for electricity. Small price to pay to keep the water lines from freezing! Customer service answered my call right away and provided excellent and friendly advice. I think the Xtreme Heater/Airskirts combo is a winner!

We installed one in a spot where our plumbing tends to freeze in Colorado high altitude. We can use the skirted unit year round now.

We have only had the heater for one week but it is working as designed. Our small RV is stored in an unheated building for the winter. We wanted a heater that is safe to leave on to keep the interior above freezing throughout the winter. The heater is expensive but, after watching videos and reading material, it has high quality components and safety feature that are well worth the cost. So far the interior is warm and comfortable and the heater cycles on an off as intended.

This is my first Xtreme heater. I'm using it on a 27 foot Carver Yacht dual engine bilge. So far so good.
Have been using this heater on a 25ft wake boat for about 2 months now. Has been great peace of mind and has allowed me to use the boat well into the winter months. Appreciate you guys!
I picked up two Xtreme heaters - an 800W and and a 600W, the small one for my 5th wheel basement and the 800W for the main living area. I live in North Alabama where we typically get half a dozen or so hard freezes (15-30 degrees). I was reluctant to go the anti-freeze and plumbing flushing process for this sort of climate, and I found the Xtreme heater option. We got our first hard freeze last night (17 degrees), and when I went to visit my camper in storage. Both heaters were whirring away. At that time it was 25 outside and 47 inside. I have a 32-foot 5th wheel. Very pleased with my purchase.

Bought this to put in my bilge for the winter to keep the engine block warm during freezing weather. Has worked as advertised for past few months, keeps everything warm, seems safe. A little pricey, but from the research I did, you get what you pay for and I didn't want to be cheap when it came to putting a very hot device on my boat unsupervised.
Our RV garage in winter is typically 47 degrees of above. We store our 21’ boat in garage and this year we did not winterize it assuming the temperature would remain above freezing. Prior to going on a weeks vacation I checked the garage temperature gave and it was at 35 degrees with the temperature dropping. I checked the boat’s engine compartment and the engine was right around 34 degrees. I wrapped the engine in a large blanket and put a floor radiant heater on the floor near the engine and outdrive area. My wife did a quick search on Amazon and we found this heater. Amazon delivered it in two days, just in time as the deep freeze hit. I set it up in a safe spot in the engine compartment and plugged it in. I disconnected the portable heater. OMG, the temperature in the engine compartment came up to 60 degrees in about 2 hours. I checked on it for the next two days prior to leaving on vacation and it was keeping the engine compartment at 55-60 degrees. The outside temperatures during the following two days were a low of 14 and high of 24. The heater did its job as designed. I just checked it after 1 week and the green light is back on and the heater off. The temperature in the engine compartment is a comfortable 60 degrees. Note, our temperatures in winter seldom get into the 20’s and usually are mid thirties and above. I would never have suspected our RV garage to dip as cold as it did. After living here since 2003, I was surprised at this extreme weather pattern. This product is excellent. It’s rugged, easy to set up and durable. I know this heater saved my boat engine from freezing. Money well spent.

I placed the unit inside the lithium battery compartment of a travel trailer. Placed a Bluetooth temperature tracking device (temp fi) and you can see the unit's on/off pattern maintaining the temperature within the advertised range.

I researched for quite some time to determine what is the best heater to keep our water compartment in our RV warm during extreme cold. I chose this heater because of the videos on it. We used it for the first time in Utah and Denver with nights that dipped down to 13 degrees F and it worked flawlessly!!!! Kept the compartment warm and never had any pipe issues. Amazing! It is super high quality and draws 400w.

Was nervous about keeping our boat on the water during the cold winter months here in North Idaho, not anymore! We have been monitoring the bilge of our 24 ft cabin cruiser via a remote WIFI temp sensor, and so far this heater has performed flawlessly!
